FETAC Level 5 Qualification to comply with PSA Requirements

ISTA has been established since 1997 researching, developing and delivering The Door Supervisor and other BJT (Basic Job Training) courses. ISTA have been the forerunners in establishing and maintaining standards in the security industry.

Today’s Sports Stadium Security Officer is facing challenges greater than ever before. In today’s litigation prone society, security officers must be aware of the legislation relating to the Criminal Law; Discrimination; Health & Safety; to name just a few. Rising insurance costs, increased violent assaults and increased risk from international terrorist attacks are some of the risks handled daily.

Course Content Includes: Units The specific learning outcomes are grouped into 6 units.

• Unit 1 General Responsibilities of a Steward
• Unit 2 Maintenance of a Safe Environment
• Unit 3 Response to Patrons
• Unit 4 Basic Emergency Aid Awareness
• Unit 5 Basic Fire Safety Awareness
• Unit 6 Contingency Planning

Course Duration & Format:

• 24hours – The training takes place over 3 days or 4 evenings.
• Written assessment at the end of the course. Supports are available for students with literacy and learning difficulties. All Learners information will be treated with the upmost confidentially. For further information, contact the Course Administrator.
