Conflict Management Training Course

ISTA has been established since 1997 researching, developing and delivering The Door Supervisor and other BJT (Basic Job Training) courses. ISTA have been the forerunners in establishing and maintaining standards in the security industry.

Today’s Security Officer is facing challenges greater than ever before. In today’s litigation prone society, security officers must be aware of the legislation relating to the Criminal Law; Discrimination; Health & Safety; to name just a few. Rising insurance costs, increased violent assaults and increased risk from international terrorist attacks are some of the risks handled daily. A competent Security Officer must be able to recognise and avoid or deal with potential conflict situations This course is designed to assist the Security Officer in conducting the continuous process of identifying dangers, assessing risk and taking action to reduce those risks in a rapidly changing environment.

Course Duration & Format;

• 6 hours – The training takes place over one day or two evenings.
